Which Way is Up? Baby Toadstool Question.

My newly "born" toadstool leather shown here in the "upright"
position......

keeps flipping over , wound side up (the wound being
where it seperated from original). I assumed that would
be the "foot".

Do I need to turn it over or let it do it's thing? I don't have pic
right now but it is basically extending it's polyps at the sides
upward (kinda like if you stood on your head and pointed at
your toes).
 
I dont see the toadstool. but If there is a small toadstool in there that is not attached just use a needle and thread and sew it to a rock.

The extended polyps in the center of the first pic are the offspring's.
 
Just place it between two small pieces of rubble rock in a place with very little flow.It should attach to both peices in no time.
