Which yellow fishy?

I recently purchased a small YCW and love him! I was looking for a constant swimmer and something colorful and does not disappoint. Although shy at first it already is one of the bolder fish even though its my smallest. Eats like a pig and comes right up to the top to feed. For around $20-$25 it's a great fish.

I already have two wrasses: a melanarus and an orange-back fairly. Would 3 weaases (adding a yellow coris) be pushing it?

I have a candy hogfish. Leaves everyone alone except for my wrasse who he bullied to death : ( IMO they are cool fish but I would avoid fish of similar shape. Doesn't bother my clown, chromis, or Blenny but hated the poor wrasse.

i have 4 wrasses in my 75g without a problem. red velvet fairy, yellow fin flasher, vrolik's, yellow coris. they all get along fine.

From what I have seen, yellow candy hogs, despite their "more reef-friendly" characteristics compared to that of other hogs, and despite their smaller size, they *can* be quite aggressive, and will often prey on small fish (assessors, dartfish etc.), shrimp, and other mobile inverts. I wouldn't add one to any of my tanks, as I prefer more peaceful fish. Yellow/canary wrasses however, almost always prove to be model citizens, but I have seen them with bacterial infections fairly often, so I would quarantine. Yellow assessors, gold line cleaner gobies, yellow clown gobies, and canary fang blennies are some other yellow options, and very peaceful too. All 4 of those I would gladly keep in my own systems. Good luck with whatever yellow fish you end up with

Yellow and melanarus are both Halichoeres. Can two of those be happy together? I know tangs of the same genus/family don't get along?
