White Acro - No clue...

Any thoughts on this one? It's got a purple/pink hue to it, but predominantly white. I've never seen anything like it before. And it's not dead, I've seen my fair share of dead and bleached SPS, but never seen anything this white before.

You're right it's not dead...... yet!
I wouldn't worry about species right now. That coral is severely bleached. I would put it low in the tank and say a prayer or three. There are actually no white sps corals. If you picked it up from an LFS, I would seriously question their knowledge and their business ethics for selling it if they were aware it was bleached.

As for species I would say that it looks like a maricultured A. lokani http://sdmas.com/corals/621.php . Good luck with it.

Thanks gon, lokani looks to be the correct species. I've bought a lot of livestock from this LFS, and have always had great success with all of it. My original concern was that the colony was dead (since I had never seen a white one before) but he assured me it wasn't.

Seems like others sell similar looking colonies:

Will let you know how it turns out.
