* A clear, crisp photograph
See attached

* A description of the texture of your algae (is it brittle? soft? fleshy? does it break easily?)
Soft, hairy, white

* A good reference for the size of the algae (try for something in the photograph that shows the scale)
About 1 inch high and 1 inch wide

* The location of your live rock or collection spot (Caribbean, South Pacific, Pacific, etc.)
On one rock in DT

* A description of the growth habit of your alga (growing on rock, on/in the sand, in the water column, etc.)
Only on one rock. Just showed up.

I looked at some images but didn't see anything like this. I'm about 6 weeks into a new cycle. Lights are only on a couple of hours, which may explain no coloration? Or maybe it's a rare albino alga? ;)

Assuming that's the case, I removed that rock and replaced it with another one that I was curing. That rock went into a dark SW holding bin.
