i have a that has long tenacle that has turned white as a ghost ive had it for 4 years it has split 5 times once it split ti turned white and has shrank to the size of a nickel from the size of a soccer ball now it wont take food . is tis thing trying to die it still opens up i just dont know what to do with it . any help would be great thanks.

Water parameters? How often do you change part of the water? What other inhabitants in the tank? If it is "trying to die" it's because something is wrong in your tank.

its been like this for over a year just no one seems to know what to do . tank params are great erverything else in the tank looks great didnt have this problem until after the last split.

i dont know ,i have two gigas clams one is 11 lbs the other 4 2 5 lbs plenty of acros couple of brains a carpet anenome mushrooms youre normal stuff everything else is helthy, this dude just started shrinking after his last split and has been geting progressvly smaller since . the lfs said that its just living out its days . as if there #,thanks for any light that can shine on this littel guy.

I wonder if perhaps it split because it was stressed. The clams aren't the problem, but I would seriously suspect the carpet. Even if they aren't in proximity to one another, this could be the culprit. "Living out its days?" That anemone could have a longer lifespan than you and me put together. If you could try the anemone in a separate tank where there aren't any noxious neighbors, I think (hopefully) you will see a rebound.

this dude looked fine untill split # 5 thats when he started to act funny .ill set up a 29 gallon biocube and see how it goes from there .i will also keep posting to keep you informed on how he does. thanks ralph

I'll keep my fingers crossed he bounces back. I'll bet it will, they are resilient. Look forward to your posts. A 29 biocube might be just exactly what the doctor ordered for it. Then when it gets big again you can put a pair of clowns in (if you want to) and have a complete setup.
