White blobs on the end of longnose butterfly dorsal spines

So these strange white blobs seem to have developed on the ends of some of the spines on the dorsal fin of my butterfly and I have no idea what they are. I think they are way too big to be ich, but I'm concerned that they may be some other parasite. I'm not seeing any unusual behavioral changes in the fish, nor am I seeing anything similar on any of my other fish. Any thoughts on what this might be or if I should be concerned?

These were the best pics I could get. Unfortunately the fish refused to hold still despite the fact that I asked nicely.

Thanks for the reply... I did a bit of research on lymphocystis and it definitely seems to fit the symptoms. And the fact that it usually resolves on it's own is definitely welcome news (and not really the sort of news one normally gets about fish diseases)

make try and make sure you fix the issue, because lympho comes from stressful situations and bad water quality.

It comes from a compromised immune system. That can be caused by stress or bad water quality, but the most common cause is copper treatment, especially prolonged copper exposure.
