What kind of experience does everyone have with there caps? I been looking for one for a while but they seem to be hard to come by. They are trully beautiful and unique!!

They are very similair to Chrysopterus in that they come down with borrk, or various illness, in the first few weeks.

Once they get pass this acclimation period they seem to do well, they are very mean once established.

This is one of my favorite clowns and I love hybrids. Just be ready to treat them when first acquired.

I've had one for a year now. bought it from a fellow reefer. Doing great and is hosting in my neon green toadstool. For some reason he is really shy in my tank...but was very territorial in the other reefer's tank (that's why he has to sell it). Excellent clown if you can get it. Good luck!

I haven't seen any available for a while.
IMO, in most cases, after the newness wears off, you realize that you have a aggressive clown that is really not as pretty as you originally thought.

Please allow me to add shy to your list :)

I have a pair for over a year now, got em from a friend that ran a reef store for free.. The female is so aggressive I'm scared to put anything else in the tank.. she barely ever lets the male out of his hiding spot! Poor little guy!

btw, anyone had any success getting them to lay eggs? If I could get em laying eggs, I could pay for my reef habit pretty easily selling the little guys :)
