Hey is my White BTA really bleached ? what does bleached mean anyway, and how can i save it. Or is it to late ?

I just finished doing a water change. I always do 5 gallons every 2 weeks.
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Ph 8.3
Nitrate 20
Lighting = 1 96 watts true actinic blue
1 96 watts 10,000 k daylight both compact flourecent
4 Moon lights

I use to have my nitrates up to 40 and i brought it down to 20 after repeated water changes every 2 days but i do not know how to bring it down lower. i have been trying to get a refugium but no luck on getting the one that i want.

Yes, your anemone is bleached. I would recommend you read the Anemone FAQ that is stickied at the top of the messageboard, then come back here if you have any additional questions.

thats bleached cleached beyond white its clear.

make sure your feeding it small daily meals of krill and cyclopeeze, needs planty of carotenoids. make sure to give it either prime reef frozen or brine shrimp plus frozen as well.

should help if its not to far gone already.
