White Eggs

Well I have a really dumb questions here... LOL
The last batch that was laid last Saturday had white eggs mixed in it.
My question is this mean they did not get fertilized? If so why did the male not remove them? He removed others that were orange in color but not the white ones....

White eggs are dead and with fungi. The male should eventually remove them, otherwise the eggs near it will get the fungus and die.

I guess I have a stupid male then he never ate them. Oh well they are all gone now and I will be moving those 2 to another tank after work today and hoping for better egg laying and more hatchlings. This way they wont have to compete with others for the food.
