White Emerald?

I bought a couple of Emerald crabs for my 92 to clean up some bubble algae.
When I bought them a couple of months ago they were green but now they are white! I thought they may just be that color because of a recent molt, but they aren't getting any greener.
They seem to be doing alright but I'm wondering if they are lacking something.

Anyone know why this could be? Anyone else ever see this with Emerald crabs?

I checked all my parameters (alk., ph., temp, SG., calcium) and all were right in line.
When I looked at the crabs with the lights off, they looked a little more normal (grennish hue). Maybe the lights made them look more white then they are?
I still think they should be more green.

Anyone else ever have this problem?

They all seem to do that. I have a red and a green and they are both now gray. Just the nature of the beast.
