White film on clownfish!

So I have had my clownfish for almost a year now and it has always been healthy. For the past month it has started getting a white film on its upper part of its body.

Eats normal, not breathing heavy, same old self. But looks sick... I've been doing tons of looking online but none seem to fit the bill. Most people's fish die fast. Mine is still normal.

We have added a bta and also a new bulb on our mh at the same time this incident occurred.

Salinity is 1.025
Ph - 8.3
Calcium - 420
Alk. - 9
Nitrates - 0
Phosphates - 0
Temp 77 - 78

What is your ammonia? I had a pair in a nano years ago (for years). They did this and died. I shut down my aquarium and did not start another until this week. Your addition might have brought illness I hope you find better answers than I did.

I don't know what light system you have, and I have never run MH so my info is very limited. But my question is whether it has a UV protective barrier? You stated that you replaced your MH bulb, but didn't say if it was the same brand or not. Like I said I have no personal experience, but I have seen MH setups with bulbs that required a UV glass pane and other that didn't. Only ask because I know fish can be burned by the UV rays, also would have no idea how long a fish could survive strong UV exposure.

Like I said its prob a long shot, but one thing I have learned over the years is that sometimes when we are confronted with a problem that isn't readily solved it can sometimes be something very simple that we overlook.
