White Film on PPE's!!! Anybody see this before???

PPE's are looking strange .... the salinity was a little high so I have corrected that .... could be from high salinity and maybe needs a few days to come back .... but they are not improving!!!

I have seen that turn to a fungal infection I would do a lugols dip on them asap.

Will Seachem's Reef Dip ( Coral Disinfectant ) or Julian Sprung's Iodine work???? I dip all of the corals when I first recieve them .... but these guys I have had for a long time, but I did get more RPE's n this week ....... redip them again???

sometimes my polyps look like that if they've been stung by my torch coral.

Question please .... I am setting up a QT tank for my paly's .... Tell me if I'm wrong .... for zoo's, clean "new" water, filter with no carbon ( so's not to feed the bacteria ) a powerhead & good light .... and they should be OK - right???

I have another QT tank for fish but it is occupied at the moment!! So I have to set up a new tank .... is why I ask ....

you need to use some water from an established tank in there, not jsut all mixed up new salt water.

OK - I did a 50/50. So maybe every 3-4 days I will do a 2 gallon change with established tank water ..... hey the PPE's already look better!!!
