I am a newbie and not sure whether it is appropriate to post Sponge questions here.
I just bought a small frag of WLS last weekend (about 1'') - I am a poor guy and cannot afford the whole big thing.
One corner of the frag is kind of transparent like dying tissues. The only one tiny white zoa. does not have a mouth yet, just looks like a white blob there.
My question is: should I remove the transparent part from the already small frag? My nitrate level is a little high, like 10-20 ppm, will it kill the sponge?
Any tips to share?
