White lips??

I picked up a coral beauty today, and while reading up on it, I noticed none of the pictures online showed white lips.. My has extremely white lips, so my question is; is this normal, or is there some type of disease that causes white lips?

I would lean toward injury as well.

Keep a eye on it, if it get worse you may need to use a hospital tank and treat with antibiotics

Looks like he may been beaten up a little at the LFS. I agree with the others ^^^. May have can from lip-locking fight with another fish. I know around my neck of the woods, LFS are known to put Dwarf Angels in the same tank, especially when they get a big shipment in.

I think that might be your answer. Be very watchful and be ready to jump into action with any stress or illness that might pop up. Is he in QT or DT? Might want to get some VitaChem or some Selcon and add to it's food to try and get some good healing going on with the additional vitamins.
