White little spots??

HI !

I was cleaning my tank, when i notice little white spots on the glass. They fill like tiny rocks attach to the glass. Did somebody know what is it?

Spirobid (sp?) worms. Very small calcareous filter feeding worm thats common in many tanks.

They could be barnacles also. Either way...nothing to care about.

when you use a pad to clean your walls

If you have an acrylic tank just use a plastic credit card .. will remove harmless spirobid (sp?) worms or coralline algae w/o risk of scratching the tank.

thanks kevin, i bought a magnet and never even got close to the sand and scratched my tank bad, i just ordered a scracth kit from marine depot, we'll see, from now on i will use my acrylic safe scrapper then proceed to use the pad

stuccodude, did you buy a magnet cleaner/magfloat especially made for acrylic tanks?
