okay so I bought a fire fish and green clown goby for my 55g fowlr. params follow as salinity-1.025 PH-constant 7.9 ,nitrates-0 nitrites-0 ammonia-0 I have 4 65w 50/50 pc,lights 60 pounds LR 20g sump. I quarantined both fish for 2 weeks with no problem no sign of anything on their bodies eating like pigs I feed mysis formula 2 (I have a yellow tang) pellets and a home made chunky milkshake concoction of shrimp, mussel, phytoplankton (gorgonian tree) garlic juice pellets, mysis, and silverside. and they absolutely looooooooove this and go crazy. so i acclimated them to main tank. anyway the green clown goby has started getting skinny and now only eating like a bite or 2 or nothing at all. the firefish eats like a pig all day eating the pods off the glass every time he sees one move. the firefish has this white fluffy loose stuff on his body it is rice shaped. it occasionally will be on the eye and then disappear for a day or so. same with the other loose fluffy spots. one day there will be 5 or 6 on both sides then only 1-2....I have looked on google with no luck as to finding out what this may be. only he is infected my yellow tang and green clown have nothing on them except now clown doesn't eat much. ive had the fire fish and clown now for almost a month :/ yellow tang has been there for over a year.

It looks like he has flukes. Would recommend treating all of your fish with two rounds of prazipro, reef safe but very effective medication.

Hard to tell by the pic. Like Rea17 said you could try some Prazi and since you have a FOWLR it won't hurt a thing to dose it in the main.

okay I went to take a better picture unfortunately the spots in the red area of the fish are no longer visible and only 3 spots on both side are on the white part of the fish making it impossible to catch with a camera. still no spots on yellow tang or green goby. will double check in a few hours to see if there's any visible areas. spot over eye is gone also.

In the first picture, the "spots" around the red area on the tail look like flukes, which are a sort of flatworm. They can move around on the fish, through eyes and gills, and may not be visible all the time. Prazi is safe with everything except feather dusters, and some accounts of it temporarily upsetting GSP, but gorgonians should be fine. Their life cycle takes place on the host fish, so you won't see them spread to your other fish as quickly as other parasites, but all should be considered contaminated and treated ASAP.
