White mounds on T.percula

I P/U a juvenial tank raised True Percula. It has some white mounds on its white bars. It's in my 10g quar. tank, it eats good, it doesn't seem stressed out, and it's colors also look good. I searched for pic's to compare/ID but no luck. I have to put'em in a container to take some pic's and post them tomorrow. Anybody seen this before? I haven't started any treatment yet till I know what it is. Any help/advise is greatly appreciated. Mike.

I'd almost say that it's a bacterial infection as I've had problems with a certain captive breeders clowns lately :( Putting your fish in quarantine is a great habit! If his color is still good and he is eating well I would watch the spots and make sure they don't grow or spread.

These are the best shots I could get.

Hi AIMFish... How did you treat for bacterial infection? I started doing fresh water (ro/di) dips. Todays dip (20 min.) I did notice a peice come off. There are still quite a few more. This fish needs some help. I also started to lower the salinity I hope this helps.

I was told to dose with a furazone based antibiotic, I'm using nitrafurazone. The brand I'm using recommends treatment for 10 days, 25% water change between dosages.
