White residue after drilling

Hi all, i recently drilled a 40 breeder and painted black.. but i did notice white marks between the trim and the glass of the aquarium. Does anyone know of a way to get rid of this or atleast to mask it.. please help!!

On my tank, I ended up pulling the rim cleaning and re applying silicon and the rim back on.

You can spend eternity trying to get it out. When filled and circulating it wont be visible.

Maybe try some condensed air for computers or if you have a compressor with the air nozzle attachment.
 
All, I tried to push water thru turkey baster and coral feeder after slightly opening up the trim with kitchen utensil. Unfortunately it did not work. Anyways, I screwed up big time by drilling the tank slightly higher and the shadow overflow is touches the trim and doesn't fit properly :headwalls:

I'm going to buy a new 40B and try again. Thanks for your help!
