White ribbon eel, opinion

I have a chance to get a white ribbon eel or ghost eel for 15 bucks, it is small right now and the fish in my reef are decent size. I have a couple of shrimp that are to big for him to eat. So should I grab him ? I will make sure he is eating before I take him.:fish1:

Someone on here had one, I'm sure they'll chime it. It was quite a ravenous fish eater, IIRC.

I've had a blue ribbon for about 3 months now and is doing very well. Initially, he'd take live grass shrimp but now is almost coming out of the tank to take frozen squid pieces. Mine is 12" and has grabbed at my bangaiis before without results. He might take the shrimp in time.

thanks for your inputs, I decided to take a chance on him, I got him today [ 3/22]. I have a 110 lbs of live rock with a lot of ins and outs so I am thinking he should like it, only time will tell
