I have had an outbreak of whitespot in my aquarium. The only fish that seem to show signs of it are an Naso Tank and Regal Tang. The other fish Grouper, Mandarin. common clownsx2, bluethroat trigger, Cromisx 12 all seem fine. None of the fish are flicking against rocks and seem unaffected by it?
To remove the fish is almost impossible without stripping the whole tank. What do all you guys do in this case? Would you really strip the tank down to get the fish out?
I was watching a DVD tonight on reef aquariums and some where really big. On one of them they said that they had a power cut and the temperature dropped 10 degrees and then they got an outbreak of whitespot. Is that possible as I thought that the whitespot was NOT always in the system and was put there by us?
So many questions here I am so trying to learn
This is a pic of my tank which will explain why I don`t really want to strip it down. Thanks in advance.
