white spot on eye of Clarkii

Anyone know what this white spot is? It's been on him for a long time now. I noticed it the 3rd day after I got him. It's not ick, but I'm having trouble ID what it is.

I would say it's an abnormal coloration. I have observed this quite often on clarkii when I was breeding them.
These days they select for it and charge you extra.
This one looks tank bred and seems to be a designer cast-off that didn't make the cut and therefore got sold as a "normal" clarkii.
