I find a round white spot on my garf bonsai. Anyone can tell me if I should be alert or not? Should I frag the part off?

Shall I take it out and dip it? The person that I bought from told me that it is pest free and that it came from his establish tank.

It is not a small pest but one of your larger fish, or else you drop it and got a chunk scrape out of it.
What are the fish you have in your tank? Crab?

I have blue hippo tang, foxface lo , 2 clowns , flameback angel and 1 blue leg hermit. I never see my flameback pick at any of my corals.

Will my bonsai recover?

Sure thats a garf bonsai? I ordered mine directly from GARF 10 years ago and it looks different. I would keep an eye on the fish. Looks like something decided to take a taste of it.

If you yourself did not cause the damage, then it is the FoxFace. It should be fine. Try to feed him well so he does not go around tasting corals.

I'm feeding him so much , but it is a big eater .I will take out the foxface. It has eat all my gsp before , but I didn't thought that it will touch my sps. So I don't need to frag it? It will recover on it's own?

My lfs told me that it is a garf. How does the real garf look like?

Here is a pic of my Original GARF Bonsai that I purchased from a NJRC member last month. I have to say I totally love my GARF, and it's doing well in its new home. It's definitely the centerpiece of my tank

It looks different from the 1 I have. But no problem at all, even if mine is not the real garf bonsai I still think it's a beauty :D

Do you guys think it is getting bigger the white spot? Should I drag it off?

The spot does not seem obviously bigger, but the shape does change. If it spread, then it is not the fish but you have a start of tissue died off right there. you should git it in fairly good current and it it still spread, break that tip off and discard it.

I have fragged that part of and today I found another spot. All my other sps are doing great. This is the only that have this problem. Does it look like aefw? I have inspected it but can't see anything. Even did a dip yesterday in coral rx. No pest was falling off. What should I do? Really don't want to loss this frag. It's 1 of my favorite .
