White spot on new Zoa frag

I just picked up a huge frag (50+ polyps) at an area fish store. They are opening up very nicely. However, I noticed on one polyp has a white spot on it, almost looking like a cataract. All the polyps around it are VERY healthy. Is it just a stressed polyp? I gave them a dip in freshwater with lugols before adding to my tank.

Any ideas?

That happens to some of my polyps when neglect to do water changes. It goes away a few days after doing a change, I havent had any adverse effects from it. I dont know if that helps, but maybe you should just do a change.

50+ polyps, thats a huge frag!!!

The polyp with the white spot got damaged somehow and has lost some of its zooanthellae in that spot. It will return to normal within days and can never cause the polyps to die. No worries.
