Are the white tips on my pink milli good or bad? PE is great on ready of coral. It was browned out when I got it. You can see the pink coming back at the base.

Looks healthy to me, the white tips are signs or growth, some corals different hues of colors at tips when new growth comes in, good job :)

Look at the one in the back looks similar to yours it has always had the white tips and keeps growing. I think it looks good.

Ok cool. Everything else is colored nicely and growing so I was hoping that was the case. Ive only recently entered the works of SPS haha

Awesome. That's great to hear! I have one more question. Can you point me to a thread if one exists on people that "don't do water changes" and have success. Are they just dosing a lot? How do they control nitrates? I have thought of setting up a constant water change system for my biocube that would change 5 gallons over the course of every ten days. This is what I do now but I figure spreading out over time would really keep things constant in the tank and wouldnt increase my salt budget at all.

nitrates/phosphates aren't your biggest problem with no water changes. The problem is dosing/keeping track of/testing, all the minor elements in sea water.

do a search for "no water changes" there are plenty of threads on the subject.
