White/yellow encrusting monti

Has anyone seen an encrusting monti with a very pale almost white base and yellow polyps? The growth edge is a deep blue. I just got it from a friend. I'm curious as to whether it is actually going to stay these colors. Someone suggested that he was betting that it would turn into a rainbow or maybe a pokerstar

A lfs has a few pokerstar frags that bleached and looked very similar to what you described. The look is awesome with the contrasting white/blue, but with good tank conditions it won't stay that way.

I have a semi-bleached rainbow frag that I was given by a friend and it looks like what you describe.

For what it's worth, that colour pattern does exist in nature. It's not common, and it's hard to keep, but it's definitely not impossible if your tank is sufficient.
