Hi,
my yellow watchman goby has been in my tank for nearly 2 months now. 3 days ago i noticed two strips of white/grey color along the fish's back, on either side of his dorsal fin, about an inch long and 1/4" wide. Is this a nutrition-related condition? I suspect this first, because the YWG is not very aggressive during feeding times. I always work to squirt food down to him, but he's almost never eating a lot. I feed a homemade mix of fresh sea-meats and roe, along with Formula 1&2, misis shrimp, or cyclop-eeze.
or, do you think the fish scraped his back against a rock, trying to squeeze in somewhere? I'm keeping an eye on him, and hoping he continues to eat. Just wondering if anyone here has seen something like this before.
