to the point, I think something ate my clam. Here are some pics of the clam and the system.

inhabitants-
sixline wrasse
lawnmower blenny (nipper)
about 7 nassarious snails
an astrea snail
6 small red-legged hermits.
The lighting is 250 watt de 20k.

any thoughts?

the blenny probably started it but the crabs probably finished it.


are you keeping nassarius snails in a BB? they need a sand bed, you'd be better off with some cerith and more astrae

thanks guys, this is what I thought as well. The nassarius snails do all right, the eat detritus, but they don't seem to be thriving.
