I really shouldn't say anything -- for fear of jinxing myself -- but I was able to get the red Haddoni. And as luck would have it I sold one of my other Haddonis to a local reefer last night, so I have the room for it. It should be here Tuesday morning.

OMG!-You bought it!Well thats good it went to good hands! But $800 was kinda high wasnt it?

Yea, the price is/was kind of high, and I didn't even realize the price until after the fact -- didn't want to waste any time.

Plus, I have been looking for a red one for years now, and the small handful that I saw didn't have the 14 day guarantee and the track record of DD. So, while it was a bit more then I wanted to spend, it should be worth it.

Well its in Good Hands congrats! BTW you are lightning fast:dance:

Thanks.

Once I saw the picture of it on Facebook, I knew I had to try my best to get it. Started hitting refresh around 4:45 -- heck, even had my CC # cut and read to be pasted.

$800 is high but I wouldn't buy from anywhere else, you could spend $500 and most likely lose it and be out the $$$. A lot of the web sites get them in on Monday and sell them on Tuesday. At D&D they quarentine 4-8 weeks and cover them for 14 days. Its the only way to buy something so delicate in my eyes.

Plus, I like getting a WYSIWYG, wouldn't spend this kind of money without seeing exactly what I am getting.

Well, I don't think it could have gone to a better home. What lucky pair of clowns will eventually be snuggling into that red-hot nem? :fun4:

It is a beautiful specimen. Rich and dark red. Usually see them a lighter in color. DD quarantine is probably responsible for that. Good catch Todd

yup

yup

I can vouch for extremecorals. I got a red haddoni from them about 3 to 4 weeks ago and it was extremely healthy. Never had a gaping mouth even right after shipping.

Thanks a lot for that comment.

As of right now it will be my single back saddleback clown -- I lost the female a couple of weeks ago, not sure what happened, never saw a body. In time I will attempt to pair it back up, but no hurry.

Yea, the few that I have seen were quite a bit lighter in color, really love the color of this one.

Nice grab Todd. Which tank are you putting it in?

Thanks. It will be going into my 75, it already had a green with purple rim one. Already have a "cove" for it -- will just have to move my clams.

Extremecorals is good, just don't sign up for the mailing list or you will get emails every single day. Dont laugh at me but what is the website for D&D?

thanks for the tip. I have used them for fish but I didn't get the d&d reference but i get it now...

as for extremecorals they don't actually put what new livestock they have in stock into their emails, they just tell you they have new livestock. At some point you kind ofjust figure out to go to the site and check the new arrivals section daily if you are in he market for something. lol
