Who has a 36inch tall tank?

We have a 108" x48"x36", sadly still sitting in the crate....for a little while longer anyway.
I have always loved the look of the taller tanks, I'm 6'2" but it is still a heck of a reach to the bottom, I'm planning mostly skylight with a removable light rack for easy access, plus the tank will be three sided viewing so more panels to clean, but easy access.

thread has been quiet but figured I'd chime in. I'm a bit worried about the depth of the tank but hope I can put it to good use. My first salt water tank.... guess I took a large bite....lol its going to be awheil to complete the build as I have to finish the basement remodel and purchase the expensive items for such a large tank....

:eek1: how did you large tankers afford the live rock....

I am planning on setting up a multiple tank sump/refug too. Still planning that one. currently stuck on finding a good skimmer for the cost that will fit under a 22" base

Im glad this thread was renewed, very cool and never saw it before. Amazing tanks. I love my 344 gallon rimless tank but because it is rimless i was limited to a height of 23". After seeing these tanks, i wish i went with a 96x36x36. Beutiful tanks. In reference to ur question about affording live rock you have several options. First you can search the boards for reefers getting out or breaking down a tank. You can also search craiglist for tanks. I recently bought a used tank off of craiglist for $100. While there he offered me the contents of another tank for free which included about 75 pounds of live rock. Another option is buying Dry rock. I bought Pukani Rock from Bulk Reef Supply. It is extremely light weight and obtained huge pieces. If you go this route, only get one pound for every 1.25 gallons, if you buy more you may have trouble fitting the rock in your tank. Other advantage of dry rock is that it is free of ant pests, can be easily drilled or chiseled and you can take ur time aquascaping.

Love those dimensions however I love the 36'' wide tanks first. I would get so frustrated if i couldn't get my hands to the sand as I stink at using tongues and gluing corals. I already get frustrated i can't clean the center of the back glass panel in my 120 gallon tank. But for a FOWLR tank the 36'' would be awesome
