Who has a Golden Dwarf Moray with fish and shrimp?

Bongo Shrimp

So I was just at my buddy's house the other day and saw his big snowflake and zebra morays and it reminded me how completely awesome they are. I have always thought about getting a GDM but especially now with my candy basslets, there can be no fish eating. I would also prefer no shrimp eating as I appreciate my shrimp too.

Now don't tell me it's not possible because my buddy with his two eels has lots of fish and a pair of coral banded shrimp in his tank and so far (for years) there have been no issues.

Lets hear your experience.

Mine will eat any fish he can fit in his mouth. He has eaten a few so now I just make sure any fish I buy are too big to fit in his mouth. Other than that he's great. How big is your candy bass. I have a swissguard and a pygmy hawk and he never bothers them.

You've been on these forums long enough to know every fish is different. One eel may never eat any fish, another, like my friend's, will eat many, including ones that "should" be too big. I can't believe you'd even consider risking a candy basslet :)

He is about an inch. IDK it may be too big of a risk.

C'mon now, no one ever said being on these forums made one sane. :spin3:

But yeah you are right. I mean I can't lie.

I have collected and kept them several times and never had a problem but as Peter says, IMO it isn't worth the risk to the candy basslet.
