Hey Craig,
I have had excellent results with Florida Aqua Farms phytoplankton cultures, but poor results with their rotifier cultures. I have yet to try AES cultures.
I almost always acheive very dense cultures of the tetraselmis, nanochloropsus and nanochloris. Currently I am only using tetraselmis. Hope this helps.

if you are talking about their culture disks they are the same. They are all made in the same place in dade city. I just went to FAF last week and they had over 1000 disks getting shiped to Aquatic Eco Systems. if you look at the rotifier eggs they are also in the same vial, with the same card so I'm sure they are also from the same place.

Starter cultures are available in test tubes. We also produce plated cultures, which can be purchased through Aquatic Eco-Systems.

From the Algagen site.

Yep, that is what I had read...Linked from Phycopure to Alga gen and read that there. That is why I asked. Just seeing if anyone has any info on their cultures.

FAF is what most culturers(culturalists?) recommend and is what I was thinking of using. I'm planning on doing the three cultures they sell for phyto and I was probably going to find a local source for type-s rotis.

Thanks for the info George.
