Who has experience with Yellow Pyramid Butterfly fish in thier REEF?

I want to know who has this fish & whether or not they are regarded as reef safe. Maybe a better question would be how would you rate them on a scale of 1-10, 1 being the safest reef fish & 10 being a terror to corals!!

So far a great fish. I had three, lost one in quarantine, and have two now in my reef. So far so good *knocks on wood*

This is great to hear. Is there only one type of Pyramid butterfly? I want to make sure I purchase the correct one.

I've seen the Zoster's B'fly referred to as a Black Pyramid... you wont mix them up since they're not the same color, and even still... the Zoster is reef safe too (have one of them as well)

I have seven split among two tanks. Vigorous eaters and swimmers. So far, no problems (couple of years).

I have found them to be very personable for fish, too.

Does it matter if they are the ones that come from the Indo-pacific or Hawaii?

I have 10 Pyramid in my reef and 10 is on the way from Hawaii. IMO, they are fairly safe
