Who has good results with IO salt and SPS

I've been debating whether or not to ditch IO and go with another brand. But before doing so, maybe some of you IO users can convince me otherwise. I currently dose 2 parts automatically so low levels of ca/alk/mag is not an issue for me. The reason behind the change is to perhaps promote better growth and colors. I've been a long time IO user but lately have been pondering the idea that there must be things missing from IO formula that makes it so much cheaper than the $80-$90 brands. There has to be, it just can't be half the cost of others and be equal in perfomance. Please proof me wrong with some pictures of your sps tank using IO salt.

IO has been around forever and there's a long track record of success with it. The thing is it's low on Magnesium and if you are using the salt, you need to supplement your tank with Magnesium. I use Mag Flakes and a 50# bag cost about $16. I usually add 1 quart of Mag Flake for every 50 gallon bag of IO used. I find this much more cost effective than buying the more expensive mix. That said, my LFS that I have credit at sometimes has good sale on Tropic Marine and they get the 300G bag. I've interchanged IO and Tropic Marine without any trouble.
