I'm surprised that LA DD is selling such a big Vlamingi... you would think they would leave a guy like that in the ocean!

Well, once it gets to them there is nothing they can really do except try to find it a good home. 360 gallons is probably not big enough, but that is a pretty healthy estimate from a fish retailer, so you can tell they're at least trying to get it to a good home.

This is true, but the importer does does have some say what gets sent to them. Particularly when its a fish that only fits one to the box and costs quite a bit of money to ship wherever it came from...
