If I had my camera with me when I was at the public aquarium, they had some FAT sohal tangs in a several thousand gallon display (part of their shark tunnel, but rock decor separated them from the sharks). They had to be as thick, if not thicker than my arm!

Dear Kyle my girlfriends and I were reading your response and were curious. Was it your forearm, upper arm? Can you post a picture of your arm?

How many people looked at their arm? lol

Just got those 3 tangs from a craigslist tear down. Love them so far. Eat from my hand. Feed them roughly 5 times a day.

Just a little fish ... but my neon goby is a big, fat, HOG. Major-league food thief too. It's nearly impossible to feed LPS with him (or her? it's one of a pair) around. He will rip the food out of the coral's mouth even when he's too stuffed to eat.

Look at the gut on this fat slob!

my dwarf pufferfish if FAT(he's actually freshwater, but I'm counting it anyway!)
He's round and almost circular when he isn't puffed up! (and I was worried I would have trouble making him eat!) Lil fatty's still my favorite fish though!

That's a NEON GOBY??? he IS fat! those things are usually eel-like kind of thin and sleek...

I have had several fat lawnmower blennies. The fattest fish I ever saw those was a chalk bass. It belonged to a local reefer who had a heavily planted tank. There was no other filtration or feeding going on - just fresh water top off. So something in those plants must have been tasty.

Well he's sad now, and I kinda am too ... his mate just up and died! I bought the two of them together in the fall of 2011, although I have no way of knowing how old they were then.

I think the Reaper must have come for this fat SOB, and got her by mistake. :(

:( Sorry to hear about the goby mate... that is sad news

I have a smaller tank, so smaller fish. But I do have a couple fatties.

My fattest "gut" fish right now is my little assessor, but my black leopard is easily my thickest fish.
