^I had one that used to be platter size.... its been fragged up over the past 3 months... now saucer size...

Shorter than you think. In the right environment they really explode. Months to a year for mine

That's true. My tank has made 2 yrs last week and my coral growth has been great. Proper lighting, regular water changes, regular coral feeding and right supplement dosing and you're good to go. 18mths ago I started dosing 15-20mls of b-ionic daily, now i'm at 108mls. My coral growth has been tremendous. For instance, my frogspawn started off 21mths ago as 3 heads, the colony has exceeded 30 heads now. I keep fragging. My green polyp toadstool started at 2.5" about 21mths ago, Its now exceeded 12".
My spaghetti leather went from 6-8" to 18" now
I've had a lot of growth on my other corals.

My leather coral (purchased from Reefer Madness) started at ~4", grew to over 24" diameter in about 4 years, I sold it 3 years ago, and my friend still has it... This pic is in my old 170g tank, 60"x24"x27"h, when it was about 18"...the rbta next to it also grew to over 2' across!
