Who is getting ready for the frag swap!?!?

Well, since I'm leaving tomorrow morning, I decided tonight that I would make a frag rack, and load it up with pieces of all the frags that I've already had sitting around my tank, from random bumps and breakages, and added a few more that I fresh clipped as well. I've got the rack loaded up with 34 frags, some large, some small. All SPS, most rare SPS too :)

So far, I've got mounted:
Superman Montipora Danae
Tyree Montipora Confusa
Turquoise Bali Aquaculture
Pink Milli
Purple Milli
Larry Jackson Tricolor Acro. Validia
ORA German Blue Polyp Monti Digitata (HUGE frags)
1 frag of Purple-tipped Mint-green polyped Acro
3 medium sized frags of nice blue-tipped Stag Acro

I've got millions of nice Pink kenya trees, pink zoanthids/palys, and this one large purple rim, purple body, yellow polyp, monti cap that is growing into all my acros and irritating them. All of these I would bring frags of, since I've got TONS of them, but they're not really big sellers, so I'm going to need to get some feedback from people if they want me to bring any of that kind of stuff.

Most of the frags will be small, which allows me to sell them inexpensively, allows everyone else to watch them grow, and allows more people to get the rare/expensive stuff that they could never afford to buy from the online dealers. Again, the whole idea of a frag swap as well...

I used like a whole stick of epoxy, and a whole bottle of Loc-tite superglue gel. My hands stuck together from the epoxy, and I was sure to make use of my new handy-dandy coral clipper (which rarely needed to be used, as most of the frags were easily picked up off the sand bed because they had already broken).

I don't mean this to be a sales post, just a WOOOO FRAGSWAP!!!! post :D

I'm very excited
 
I hope to be done with my frag system in the next day or two. Then the fragging will begin!

The frag swap is always alot of fun, I can't wait!

Counting the days :D I let go my 90 gal. tank thinking about the 210 set up then realized that is taking longer than expected (I want to do it right). In the last week I cleaned up the 90, got back into ZEO and back to optimum conditions so I can bring home some frags.
 
i lost my tyree monti.. do you only have one?



im getting ready with some zoos and some pink birds nest
and store im going with is doing a tranship in hopes of getting some nice pieces we can chop shop up ( along with alot of stuff grown at store)

No pics unfortunatly. I did take a pic with the camera, but everything is packed up ready to be moved tomorrow at 7:30 am.

oOo Zeo F2R. How was that going for you when you were doing it before? Sounds fun. I can't even imagine the colors you used to get from it. I've actually still never seen a Zeo tank in person.

A.T.T.R., I've got a few frags, and a medium sized colony that I can more or less always get frags from in my tank. No trades unfortunately, as my tank is FULL of freakin frags and other coral. I'm having a really hard time now that a few select pieces are growing out in my tank, and poor planning on my part means that I can't take anything else in the tank. Also after getting RBs a while ago and treating fully for it, I've kind of got the heebeejeebees about adding more coral for a while. I think I'm going to do what ChrisAggie did and not introduce anything new for a year or so. (Of course that'll never happen, but I'd like to think that it may :p )

I'm still very excited to see what others are bringing to the swap, as there's always an awesome turnout, and this year we've got more room than ever for stuff :)
 
lol if people want specific corals, this isn't a thread about taking orders. PM me.

This thread was just meant to get some excitement going with what I was bringing :)

It works for me, a the water test meeting to my surprise my water was perfect I stopped and the tank went steadily down hill started two weeks ago and already see the difference ready for frags but wish I had never stopped.

I'm getting ready alright. B bringing some $$ to fill up my new endeavor.
Hopefylly things will move along swiftly but I doubt it.
 
I doubt I will have a table this year, I have not been into the fragging since the last swap.
 
I will have lots of neon green star polyps :hammer: and some GARF purple bonsai frags. A few others also.
