The bully from my tank is my 5" emperor juvie(changing). He will occasionally chase my slightly smaller False Personifer. Probably b/c the FP is my last angelfish that was added.

I put two pink spot gobies in my tank. They fought at first then one turned darker, awesome really, they mated, now he's the bully of the tank. Recently killed a red mandarin that I introduced. We'll see how he handles my new Achilles Tang.

I have a fairly tame bunch but...

Mimic tang(pyroferus) > male zebra lyretail angelfish(caudovittatus) > female bellus angel > male lyretail anthias > the rest

My beloved french angel. She's an absolute pig! When I feed my puffers clams I have to actually guard the clams from her so the puffers can have a peaceful meal.

Here she is now (around 8").

This is when I first got her (around 4").

One of my favorite fish. Definitely not a wimp!!

My tanks are very peaceful by design. My emperor angel, however, will not allow any foolishness from another fish.

The boss of my tank is an 8" powder blue tang. He is alot bigger than the rest of the fish, and he knows it.

The boss of my FO is my male meredithi angel , who is getting monstrous! But he is not at all aggressive, not even to the female anymore.

In my reef, all my fish ignore each other, so I can't say there is an obvious dominant single fish.

I dont have any bullies. I have 2 clowns and a yellow watchman goby in a 55 there is plenty of room hopefully this will continue to be the case when I add 2 anthies today.

My tank is pretty peaceful, but you can see the hierarchy in the tank when a new fish is added. My kole tang always takes the first shot at hazing the new guy, followed in duration and intensity by my majestic angel, multibar angel, and depending on what kind of fish the new guy is, my pyle's wrassse. After they play out this cycle, everyone goes back to ignoring each other.

The queen of my tank is a 7-8" blue tang. She occasionally chases the other tangs during feeding time, but nothing major. The queen of the wrasses is my female bellus angel (only about 3-4"), who chases any wrasse in her way.

Sandwi54,

She's a beauty. How long have you had her?

I had her since last July. She eats anything and everything and is a super fast grower. French angels are in general fast growers, and there have been cases where a 2" specimen grows into the size of a dinner plate in 18 months.

Based on her growth rate, I expect her to hit 10" by the end of the year, which means I'll have to upgrade my tank. She already seems a bit cramped in my 225g due to her unique body shape. she's just as tall as she is long, and looks much larger than regular fish with an elongated body shape.

IN terms of sheer size it would be always my french angel that i have had since tiny 2 inch juvenile to full grown over 18 years now but the real bully was my beloved Clown trigger which past away after 17 years with me and was likely about 25 plus years in true age ,as it never grew an inch from the time i got it.IT was the boss but it could have been a real nasty bully but it never harmed even the smallest fish in all those years, but it did chomp a newly molted cleaner shrimp in one bite

Definitely tomini tang. He chases the poor blenny all over and now I added a yellow coris wrasse and the stupid tang chases him too but the wrasse is not intimidated. He just does all kinds of swift moves and avoids the tang, the tang gives up!

I tried catching him but of course he he knows I'm going for him, all the fish enter the trap except him.
