Who makes Aquariums?

Hey all,
I currently have a 36g bow front (30" long) and have about 38" of wall space just sitting here begging to be used so it's time to upgrade!

I'm just trying to take a look around to see what all options are out there. It looks like the largest tank I can fit there is a 65G RR by All-Glass, but I want to see what else is out there.

All I know about are All-Glass.com and OceanicSystems.com. Any other tank makers out there?

Also, if you have a 65g out there, does it feel big? My 36g feels so small and I don't know if I'm really gaining much or if I should hold out for something else down the road.

I also have only a $3000 sans live rock budget to fit all equipment.

Thanks.

theres perfecto/marineland as well. they just rolled out a new line of deep dimention tanks but i dont think any of those will fit.

EDIT: Oh wait! if you have the front to back space perfecto makes a 150g that is 36 x 36 x 27" talk about some depth. You can get it with or without starphire glass as the front pane. IT might be too expensive for you budget though, bigger tank means more lighting bigger skimmer, return pump etc etc.. You might be able to squeeze it into a $3000 budget if you're crafty, i couldnt be sure though.

Yea, losing access to half my closet with that thing :) 18" deep is about as much as I can get away with. The oceanic tech series is looking nice though and something I'm considering.

Do you own a large tank with a pump? To much noise for a bed room? I have a AquaC HOB filter which is quite high pitched wonder how noisy a sump and everything gets.

i have a 75 gallon and 45 gallon freshwater setup and my 20 gallon with 10 gal sump all in my bedroom. It probably depends on the pump you get and the skimmer. A venturi skimmer makes alot of noise no matter how you slice it. I have adjusted to the noise of the skimmer (and the smell of the FW tanks LOL) My pump is an eheim hobby pump and its completely silent i cant tell its running but then again its only pushing 100 gph through my sump.

Yea, sounds good. I'm gonna try and nail down the tank and then start another thread asking for help for the specifics. My 36g was kind of a stab in the dark and have made so many mistakes. Want my next one to be a success from the start.

Thanks for your help :)

thats how we do it. my 20 is basically the same thing. many mistakes but all of them a learning experience. good luck!
