Who runs a frag tank off their main DT?

Looking for advice from people that run two tanks together.i am planning on setting up a 21 gal clown anenome tank and debating connecting it up to my DT.
However my DT is sps dominant mostly automated( apex, two part ato etc)and doing really well and I don't want to screw things up
Also I don't know about setting up a clown anenome and what is actually needed as far as parameters etc.obviusly no calcium uptake,

I do. Check my build thread if you want. Its basically a shallow cement mixing trough. I plumbed it in because i didnt have space or feel like having to maintain another tank. Also didnt need another pump since i just tee'd off the main return to fill the tank. Its usually empty though. I dont frag much and i usually just use it as a holding area for new corals after i dip them.
