Who said corals need water ?

Last night while while watching American Idol I decided to mount an SPS frag and completely forgot about it outside of the tank.

Two hours later before going to work I realized what I had done and knew it was ok. My wife on the other hand could not believe this coral would survive. So I just showed her this video to make her feel better.

I totally believe it. I've left some acro frags out for 30-40 minutes at a time a few times. They're just slimy afterwards. I've even left my lights on when I took 15 gallons out of the display, so the tops of all my acro colonies were outside of the water for about 20 minutes under direct halides. I think it builds character
