Who says Condys don't host =D

My condylactis and tomato =). They are doing quite well. He loves the anem. but the andem likes to latch on to my birdsnest.... sigh.

Nobody says they won't host.....they just aren't natural hosts for clowns. Clowns will accept just about anything for a host; frogspawn, torches, rocks, power heads, pretty much anything or nothing at all. You got lucky. Congrats.
 
Very cool! I wish mine would, sigh. BTW, your Condy is bleached so I hope your target feeding it so it will color back up. I suppose your clown will feed it though. Best of luck to you.
 
I had 2 condys for 6 years, that hosted tomatos, maroons, clarkii, and fire clowns...(never true or false percs), and never ate a clown!
They also got very large, with 12"+ tentacles...and better than that...they changed colors over the years, from white, w/purple or pink tips, to solid purples and solid pinks and back again. Not sure why/how they changed color...I did change lighting a couple times, but wasn't taking note of it.
Hard to tell if yours is bleached, from that pic!
Traded them off when I upgraded tank last year.
