Who uses Selcon?

Also what does everyone think actually bennifits from using selcon? Anyone think it helps with fish coloration? I feel like it does.

I certainly think the colors are more vibrant on selcon. When ever I've received a new fish after a few weeks of my feeding regimine they always look much better then the color I received them in, wether or not this is the selcons doing or rather just a fish that is no longer stressed I can't say. But I like to think the selcon has had some effect.

I have been target feeding my zoanthids and palys with the left over selcon from the food mixture. They seem to react well to it, but I haven't been doing it long enough to see measurable results. Anyone have an opinion on this?

I make my own mix frozen food and use Selcon together with other additives like garlic extract. I prepare the mix every 3-4 weeks and simply freeze the entire "stew". Some of the ingredients are: chopped gulf shrimp, chopped squid, chopped clam, pe Mysis, brine shrimp, blood worms, Cyclops-eeze, frozen formula two, daphnia, brs reef chili, selcon, garlic guard and some dried pellet/sea weed.

Fish and coral dig it.

I soak my frozen foods in a dropperful of selcon and a dropperful of garlic extract. Even the pickiest eaters can't resist.

I also feel like our fish are much healthier looking and more colorful than any of the fish I see in other people's tanks.
