Who usually gaurds the nest?

i have a couple false percs that seem to be ready to start breeding...they have been doing the dominance thing for a while now...and it would appear they have found a host they like...but it dosent seem to care too much for them...they have started hosting in my GSP...i had a rock growing in the corner of my tank that has climbed up the wals now and looks a lot like a nem..LOL

they have been fanning it like crazy lately and swimming in it a lot...it closes up from now and then...

i think it is awesome they have a host now...too bad there is no way on earth that any of their eggs could ever live if they lay them in the GSP...

Clowns lay their eggs on a rock near the host, not in it. The male is the primary guard and the female checking up on things often. With ocellaris (false percs) the eggs take 8 or 9 days to hatch.
