I'll order everything and work to get it delivered to the right people if I can find some more interest...

I'm interested in ordering a few fish. I have Wednesday's and the weekends off, so if they deliver on either day, I could drive them up to Knoxville and we could meet somewhere and split the order up.

I even take paypal if you want to send me the money that way. You would just have to pay a little extra to cover the 5% or so they take out for the service on my end. Or we could get the money together at the next meeting. Just post here if you are interested and what you would want. If we can get 6-7 people... shipping is only 5 dollars.

Sorry, I just posted that I'd do it. Since you havent done it before, you just dont know what all you could face. I think I still have the record for problems with the West Coast snail order 2 yrs ago.

Zac~ Yeah, I suggest you let Don handle this one... lol Its not for the young, old, faint of heart, and newbs... Its a big pain in the butt to coordinate... But at least you save a few $$$...

Sure, no big deal. Just a thought. If I could order and split the shipping with someone, or put in my order with someone else, that would be great. I mean, I can always meet and deliver the fish. No biggie.

So what happened with the west coast snail order?

I've never placed an online fish order before. I figured live aquaria was a pretty good dealer and they seem to take care of any problems that you might have. Sorry I missed that you we're going to take care of the order, imsqueak. I knew they we're looking for someone. It didn't seem that anyone wanted to take the task.

Long story short, he had family health problems in another state and went out of biz during/shortly after our order. Plus multiple discounts for different quantities, so we tried to make as many levels as possible... It was my first or second group order!

I understand family health problems though... just had to be bad timing.
