i had one in my tank. took it out many months ago, I'm still finding babies popping up here and there! I have to epoxy putty them to kill them off before they spread some more.

I wouldn't put another one in my tank if you gave it to me for free+cash LOL

I've exactly the same thing happened in my tank, I couldn't say either one of them won the war because for months they've both successfully kept the other from growing onto their territory.

I think you are safe with the pink/purple ones. It's the green ones that people have problems with.
