Who's got a dirt bike fs.

Ok so my son has started racing on his 85. Tracks like Dixon, Marysville, Hangtown, ect....... So that bike is on its way out due to his uncle not puting enough oil in it. Only takes once. So repair price outwights what it would cost to get him on a bigger bike. I am thinking a 100 or a 125 at least. So anyone got one hanging out that they dont use anymore. I might me willing to help you clean out a little space in the garage. So if anyone has anything let me know.

Dale I have a buddy at work who has a son that may have outgrown his 125. I'll speak with him tomorrow and I'll find out if he's willing to sell it. I'll let you know after work. Mike

Dale I finally got an answer about the bike. The boy wants to keep it. And besides it was only a 100. There is another guy at work who has lots of quads and knows guys with lots of bikes. Hes looking into to it tonight if anyone has a spare they are willing to part with. Will keep you informed Mike

Thanks Mike. I think we might be rebuilding a 99 yamaha 125 yz. All it needs is the top end the whole top end! Ha ha this is going to get pricey. But still anyone that has a RUNNING 125 let me know.

If he's going to race you should really get a new bike there's been alot of andevancements in the past 10yrs on them=).. I'd check out craigslist there's always TONS of dirtbikes for sale on there especially in the bay area and sacramento forums..

Thanks Bamm Bamm. We have been all over craiglist and theres not alot to chose from. And yes any bike he get would have to be within 8 years old. This is his first season racing so we want him to be able to finish it. I have thought about just buying a new bike on credit but I just cant justify it. Plus now that I am a small business owner my credit has dropped go figure.

Yeah it's really bad how credit card companies are treating business owners right now. It's making it really hard for alot of them to be able to buy supplies even I had a buddy have his limit dropped $150k on his bus card... Keep checking on craigslist and I know there's a used dirtbike/atv website IIRC can't remember what it is though...A new bike is always a nice option you get everything brand new not trashed BUT if he's going to race your going to change all the suspension and everything anyways Im imagining..If I hear of anything i'll letcha know..I ride a 450 so Im not too much help there=)
