Randy that is one sweet Enchino. What bulbs are they under? Do you feed?
Currently, I grow my Echinopora under 4 VHO 110w bulbs. 2 Actinic, 1 50/50, 1 AquaSun.
Unfortunatly, this lighting setup takes terrible pictures.
The pictures above are under a single 400w 10K Coralvue bulb, and 2 VHO actinics. I just placed the Echinopora on top of my Acros to take the shots.
I don't feed Echinopora. They do get long sweeper tentacles at night, but are not very good at accepting foods.
These corals grow at a very fast pace without feeding.
The frags I started with were so tiny. The purple one was only half the size of a postage stamp when I got it. It doubled in size in just a month.
Here are the two morphs back in August, 2003. About 2 months after I got them.
The purple is on the right, and grew about twice as fast as the blue/teal one on the left.
