Who's got Ice Blue chalice pictures

I've been reading online about chalices here and there. I ran across a couple of solid light blue chalices pictures that where old and fuzzy. I was hoping to see a clear picture of one if someone has one. The coral sounds nice when it is described in Tyree's Reeffarmers website.

Not sure if I'd call either of these "Ice Blue"

The pics are from March 05

Randy that is one sweet Enchino. You don't see blues that much, are they a little harder to come by? Do you mind telling me if you keep that one in the shade or out in the open, and what bulbs are they under? Do you feed the chalices at night?:eek2:

Currently, I grow my Echinopora under 4 VHO 110w bulbs. 2 Actinic, 1 50/50, 1 AquaSun.

Unfortunatly, this lighting setup takes terrible pictures.

The pictures above are under a single 400w 10K Coralvue bulb, and 2 VHO actinics. I just placed the Echinopora on top of my Acros to take the shots.

I don't feed Echinopora. They do get long sweeper tentacles at night, but are not very good at accepting foods.

These corals grow at a very fast pace without feeding.

The frags I started with were so tiny. The purple one was only half the size of a postage stamp when I got it. It doubled in size in just a month.

Here are the two morphs back in August, 2003. About 2 months after I got them.

The purple is on the right, and grew about twice as fast as the blue/teal one on the left.

i own alot of echinopora including the tyree blue challice. and the blues tend to grow at almost twice the rate as the rest. mine have gone from the half inch to 6"-7" range in alittle over a year
