Who's headed to Chattanooga this weekend?

I wish I were. They've got some great stuff and it will be a great one. I have become unbelievably busy with work and with family. My wife is coming down the home stretch for the state title in category 4 women's bicycle racing which has also occupied my time. I am also starting graduate school soon and have to plunk down an un-planned-for $1000 on Friday. Their swap is always my favorite.

Good luck to your wife, Jack. Hard work paying off:). Good luck in grad school, too. One of these days, I'll rejoin the ranks of academia...

After an unexpected accident last week puts us out from any road trip or shopping. Had to buy a new car and waiting on insurance to pay up. :(

Without having much to sell (still trying to let stuff grow in), I can't justify the trip from a money standpoint. Sad state of affairs I guess. I'd love to hang out and waste some money on raffles. It would actually be really pleasant to go to a swap and not have to worry about manning a table.

If we were still in the 90/92 I'd be having to frag stuff and I'd probably have a couple of tanks full at the swap.

As it is, it'll hit mid-october, I'll have a bunch of colonies that need fragged, and the nearest swap will be in January.

I'm actually hoping to get a swap set up down here around October:). I don't have any idea what kind of support we'd see, though. I got a tepid response to the mention of it (several immediate vicinity locals made themselves known, though), but enough people posted to be able to get a meeting together last weekend. If I can do it cheaply (we have no club, yet-no LFS support...), we (the couple of us that discussed it) plan to have one in October to try to draw some support from the area. If it goes well, I'd work on one for sometime between the MTRC and ETRC swaps (as an ongoing). Just an aside:D. I miss seeing other people's set ups...
