Who's legs are those?

Always in the same rock but often at different spots I see which looks like 2 legs of something sticking out. What is this?

Definitely micro brittles. You probably have quite a few, but they're very small and won't hurt anybody. Also, they'll eat all the gunk for you.

That's a Harlequin Serpent Star. I have 3 of them, 2 I bought 1 I found as a hitchhiker. They are pretty cool to watch and can get fairly large. They will eat food out of your hand, although some wont.

I don't think they're serpents. Just micro brittles. I've had both (including the harlequins, which I adore), and these guys have spikes on their legs that the serpents don't. They won't get much bigger than they are already.
